According to a new clause from Bloomberg, Virago Games has reportedly canceled its Lord of the Rings MMO, based off of Tolkien's fantasize lit. The game was announced almost two years past back in 2019. The undertaking was a collaboration between Amazon Games and Leyou Technologies, the last mentioned of which owns the developers behind Warframe and Gears Tactics.

The cause for the cancellation was the uniting between the Chinaware-supported Leyou Technologies and the conglomerate Tencent Holdings back in December of close year. Sony was reportedly in consideration to acquire Leyou American Samoa advantageously. The game was canceled due to a failure to negotiate a contractual agreement betwixt Tencent and Amazon.

While the sources for this account are anonymous, an Amazon representative did confirm, saying, "we have been incapable to secure terms to carry on with this claim at this time."

This is disastrous as Amazon River has not had a good record with releasing games.
